Teens In Action™ Leadership Council Manager
Education:
Master of Arts in Public Policy, Regent University
Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, University of Delaware
Teacher Certification (Florida Educator Preparation Institute), Hillsborough Community College
Relevant Work Experience:
Jennifer West-Earles comes to Frameworks with over a decade of experience working with high school students in the field of education, along with several years of nonprofit experience focused on community impact. She previously served as an educator at Plant High School in Tampa, FL, where she created engaging, student-centered classrooms centered on critical thinking, collaboration, and kindness.
During her time in the classroom, Jennifer observed that while many students were excelling academically, there was a noticeable gap in essential life skills such as emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and effective communication. Recognizing this need, she became deeply committed to helping young people develop these skills so they could build stronger relationships, grow in confidence, and better understand themselves and others.
In addition to her work in education, Jennifer spent several years with Word Relief, where she contributed to mission-driven initiatives focused on service, outreach, and community engagement. This experience deepened her understanding of nonprofit work and reinforced her passion for connecting individuals with meaningful opportunities to serve others.
These combined experiences naturally led her to Frameworks of Tampa Bay, where she now serves as the Teens in Action™ Leadership Council Program Manager. In this role, Jennifer designs and facilitates programming that integrates emotional intelligence, leadership development, civic engagement, and service-learning. She draws on both her classroom experience and nonprofit background to create opportunities for teens to explore real community issues, engage with local leaders, and develop youth-driven solutions that create lasting impact.
Why You Work at Frameworks:
I work at Frameworks of Tampa Bay because I believe in the transformative power of emotional intelligence for young people. Throughout my time in both education and nonprofit work, I have seen how important it is for students to feel connected, understood, and equipped with the skills they need to navigate challenges and build meaningful relationships.
Frameworks creates space for that kind of growth in a way that is both intentional and impactful. This role allows me to combine my passion for working with teens and my commitment to service, while helping students discover their voice and their ability to lead. Seeing that growth and confidence develop over time is what motivates me every day.
